How are the oysters shipped to ensure freshness?
Our oysters are harvested to order and shipped via overnight delivery in insulated coolers with frozen gel packs to maintain a safe, cold temperature from our farm to your doorstep.
How long can I keep my oysters in the refrigerator?
When stored properly (in an open container covered with a damp cloth), live oysters typically stay fresh for 5 to 7 days after arrival. Never store them in airtight bags or submerged in fresh water.
Do you ship to all 50 states?
We currently ship to all 50 states via FedEx. However, due to international customs and food safety regulations, we cannot ship our live shellfish outside of the United States.
What happens if my order is delayed by the carrier?
While we cannot control weather or carrier delays, we provide extra coolant in every box. If your oysters arrive warm or the shells are gaping open and do not close when tapped, please contact us immediately for a replacement or refund.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
Yes, you can select your preferred delivery date at checkout. We recommend scheduling arrival at least one day before your planned event to account for any potential transit delays.
Are your oysters sustainably harvested?
Absolutely. We are a family-run farm committed to environmental stewardship. Oysters are restorative to their ecosystems, and we utilize sustainable mariculture practices to protect the Hood Canal watershed.
